The Coca Cola company have allways had a secret recipe. Today I watched a documentary film about finding out some of the secret ingredients. 

Coca Cola was invented by John Pemberton in Atlanta USA 1886. John were trying to create a beverage you could drink instead of being addicted to morphine because of his own addiction. That was when Coca Cola was created.

In the original recipe cocaine were used as an ingredient. That could be one of the reasons Coca Cola company does not want people to know their recipe because extract from the coca plant leafs is still being used as an ingredient. Some other ingredients I found out were cinnamon, orange, nutmeg, coriander, lime, citric acid, caffeine, alcohol, sugar and caramel colour E150d. One Coca Cola can contains 10 teaspoons of sugar, and the caramel colour E150d contains a cancer causing chemical that creates in the process of creating E150d.

This might be some of the reasons that Coca Cola company does not want to reveal their recipe to the world, and who knows? Maybe Coca Cola contains other drugs that we are not yet aware of. They did not tell much to the reporter who tried to find out about the ingredients and they definlitly didn´t want to confess an ingredient when she found out from other sources that they use it in the recipe.
